Guess the finish
Pick the winning borough and the winner's Fry Score. Right borough and closest score takes home a yellow lunch box.
Every fry leaves the fryer at a slightly different temperature, so the hottest fry at the finish isn't automatically the winner. The score is out of 100:
- 70 · Heat kept. How much of its starting heat (above the 82°F air) the fry still has at the line. Measured at the start and at the finish by the judge's probe.
- 30 · Pace. Route distance covered per hour, from the box's GPS. 25 km/h or faster earns all 30.
Time counts twice: a slow route means a colder fry and a lower pace.
Free to enter, no purchase necessary. 18+ and US residents only. Official rules reviewed by counsel. In this demo, guesses stay on your phone.

Book a slot, skip the line. Fries in a thermal sleeve, a sauce mixed to order and a heat-map photo of the day, at the finish in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Five boroughs. Five runners.
Each starts at a McDonald's about 14 km in a straight line from the finish. Any route, any transit, one yellow lunch box. Highest Fry Score wins.
